Last month, father Tim LeBlanc almost lost her 12-year-old daughter from a man who pretended to be a 16-year-old teenager. On that night, Tim could’ve been a sad father who would never ever see her daughter again. But luckily, he got up at 2 a.m. and saw that his daughter’s windows were open. Search was done, and fortunately, he found her on a car with a grown-up guy that his daughter met on social media. If he arrived late, he could’ve lost his daughter for eternity.
It’s scary how a lot of teenage girls are easily snagged by online sexual predators. Just a series of chat, and it could’ve been your daughter, your little sister, your friend, or someone close to you.
This is what YouTuber Coby Persin wants people to realize. And for him to be able to relay that message deeply, he decided to do a little experiment.
He chatted on social media 3 girls (ages 12, 13 and 14) and pretended as a 15-year-old teenager. His objective? To meet him personally on the park and show that these girls can easily be targeted by online sexual offenders. So, he asked their parents’ permissions to do this little experiment.
What do these girls didn’t know is that Coby actually got their parents with him in the meetup.
And seriously, the next moments of the video is truly scary, alarming, and very heartbreaking.
As expected, the girls were not hesitant in meeting up “Coby”. What made it really unbelievable is that they already saw Coby from afar, and yet they didn’t even stopped to think and back away.
It’s kinda sad, thinking that these girls could’ve been assaulted by other crazy people from the Internet.
So please, take care of your daughters, friends, and family members who could’ve been the next Tim LeBlanc’s daughter.
