Being a Korean pop star is not just having all the glamour and the popularity that you are wishing for. They’re not just pretty faces and fancy skirts. Believe it or not, being a Korean pop star requires to you go through lots and lots of challenges. It requires you to surpass your limit for the sake of entertainment. And whether you like it or not, you’ll have to face this and finish it to gain your dreamt popularity.
One of the things that you must do when you become a K-Pop is to perform in a professional way even though hell is breaking lose. No matter what happens, the show must go on. Even if your group mates are going nuts and are breaking the formation, you must keep your poise.
A Korean pop group named GFriend were probably tested by the Holy Spirits of K-Pop when they performed in Seoul, South Korea this week. And trust me, the struggle of performing flawlessly while you are tumbling one by one because of the freaking slippery floor is just one hard act to pull off.
And yes, they almost fall 9 times while performing their newest song Me Gustas Tu.
It seems like the band’s member Yuju (the pretty girl with the while knee protector) wasn’t really having the greatest time of her life as she and other slipped and slid on the stage.
At first glance, you won’t be able to notice the rain. But when you looked up at the jumbo screen, you can almost see the droplets of water dropping on the stage. Now that explains why these girls were tumbling like Humpy Dumpy.
But look, you got to give them a thumbs up since they finished their performance as if they didn’t fall 9 times on the floor.
Kudos, GFriend! And try not to dance when the stage is drizzling wet, okay?
